Within 18 months of joining the Company, she had restructured CMP into a profit-making business, identified key buyers and completed the sale to Banijay. During her tenure, Nicole collaborated closely with Banijay to launch new Peaky Blinders content, including FAST channels, a themed airport bar, a PB Ballet Rambert film, a blockchain video game, and new merchandise.
Prior to this, Nicole spent 9 years at Eleventh Hour Films (EHF) as Managing Director, which was partially sold (25%) to Sony in 2018. Before EHF, she worked for Alison Owen at Ruby Films, where she was responsible for establishing the Television arm of the business. In the three years at Ruby, the Television division produced several dramas, including Case Histories for the BBC, and the Company was nominated for Broadcast Production Company of the Year in 2010.
Nicole began her career at KPMG as a Graduate ACA trainee, where clients included PolyGram and Island Records. Having developed corporate finance, M&A, financial, and management skills at KPMG, she then joined a start-up, Ecosse Films (Douglas Rae), as Commercial and Finance Director in 1998. Over nine years, she organically grew the business and established Ecosse as a recognized brand in both the film and television industry worldwide. Revenues reached £23 million when she left, and Ecosse featured in The Times FAST TRACK 100. Her responsibilities included completing complex financing and tax deals (e.g., tax credit, Sale & Leaseback deals, and Irish S481 investment deals) and executive producing three independent film productions (Brideshead Revisited, Becoming Jane, Wilderness) and a TV film (My Boy Jack).
